Denli Chavez is an actor and filmmaker from Bacolod City, Philippines. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of St. La Salle and is in her final year of the BA Acting program at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).

Her artistic voice is shaped by themes of memory, community, and care. In Bacolod City, she helped lead SheHerIProject, a community-based initiative that offered spaces for women to gather and share their stories. The project ran for several years and continues to influence her work with a foundation of empathy and social awareness.

She was one of two artists selected to represent Region VI (Western Visayas) at VIVA ExCon 2021—a Visayas-wide biennale considered the longest-running and largest of its kind in the Philippines. Her films have screened at SineKahirup, SineNegrense, the 28th Gawad CCP Para Sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video, and the Josaiah Media Festival in San Antonio, Texas. She has received multiple awards, including Best Actress for Happy Birthday (SineNegrense 2017), 2nd Best Picture and Best Script for Suba sang Malogo (SineKahirup 2017).

At WAAPA, she has worked extensively across stage and screen, training under Bagryana Popov, Humphrey Bower, Shane Anthony, and the internationally acclaimed company Cheek by Jowl. She also worked with esteemed Filipino director Ana Valdez-Lim through Theater Space, performing in real-time online productions during the rise of virtual theatre.

Her current creative interests include video art, movement-based storytelling, pole dance as a form of reclamation and embodiment, and modelling as performance. She frequently works with photographers on shoots exploring identity, emotion, and visual storytelling.
